Lori's Adventure is a 2D platformer game where players control Lori, a seedling, to go through a journey in order to stop the evil apple witch from destroying the plant world.
Lori has the ability to germinate into different kind of plants in its world. This helps Lori to navigate around the world freely and enable itself to dodge enemies and obstacles.
L. DESIGNER
Designing the flow, levels as well as the gameplay mechanics. Putting the game together with a sprinkle of storytelling.
Coming up with the concept of Lori as a seedling and other NPCs/ enemies as fruits and vegetables. Producing the art assets for all the characters as well as the environment.

WORLD OF LORI
Lori
Lori is a mischievous and adventurous seedling that loves to explore her world. Lori has the ability to germinate into different plants which allows itself to traverse to different parts of the region.
Health System
Lori's health is represented by the leaves on her head. When in contact with hazards or enemies, Lori will lose one of its leaves. When Lori loses all its leaves, it will be down to the last health.
Mr. Beleaf
​Mr. Beleaf is once an adventurous seedling just like Lori. Now that Mr. Beleaf is retired, she has passed down all the skills she had acquired to Lori, in order to aid Lori in her journey.
Germination
Germination is the ability that is being passed down from Mr. Beleaf to Lori. With this ability, Lori is able to Germinate into a Sunflower, Lettuce or even tunnel to the another side of the soil.
Tunneling
Lori can tunnel to the opposite of the soil.
Sunflower
Lori can reach a higher ground.
Lettuce
Lori can project itself distance away.
Cloud
Other than the Thunder Cloud and the Blizzard Cloud, ​clouds are generally helpful in game. The clouds act like platforms for Lori to step on and deliver Lori to a distance apart.
Environmental Hazards
The world that Lori lives in is full of dangerous hazards. These hazards are harmful to Lori and will damage it when in contact with.
Vines
Vines are scary wriggly obstacles.
Rafflesia
Rafflesia release foul gas, foul enough to
erode away organic being.
Environmental Aids
While the world is full of dangerous hazards, there are things that are helpful too.
Signboard
Signboard helps Lori to navigate in its adventure, making sure that Lori is being warned to the dangers ahead. But, it is actually the doing of Mr. Beleaf. Shhh it's
a secret.
Checkpoint
Checkpoint helps Lori
marks its re-spawn point
when it withers.
